When Wanaka first started dancing about 4 years ago, she thought there was no way her feet and hands were going to work together. She stayed with it and it was the most fun she has ever had. She looks forward to every Monday night when she has her lessons and also to the performances that the Precious Pearls do.
Marilyn was invited to come and watch one of Grace’s Hula classes. During the class she was persuaded to participate. The first class was four years ago and now the Precious Pearls perform through out the year at many types of events. She has come to love the beauty of the dance and the serenity of the music.
